First Visitors

We are "babysitting" a cottage for the month of August. After 9 months in the trailer this is luxury plus. Mary has a full kitchen, we can take a hot shower or bath whenever we please and soak our feet in the lake without driving across town.

Ted and Sharon dropped by to say hi and became our first visitors. They stayed for lunch; turkey and roasted potatoes, which we enjoyed on the deck.


Down at the lake, we had to take off our shoes and test the water temperature. Perfect! Maybe we will go for a swim tonight.

Briar, their friendly bird dog, was curious and had to check out every hiding spot.


Summer, visitors and lazy days by the lake. Hope you can drop by.

    I'll check that our. On August 22 we will start construction of our off grid, passive solar home.
