Vent Hood

Decided we needed a cover for our roof vent just in case we get rain while away from the trailer. This has happened before and believe me there is no fun coming home to soggy carpet.

First job was to climb up on the roof and see if the hood would sit where I wanted it. Lovely view from up here. Last year we climbed that peek but this year .................. not yet.

The cover fit just fine with enough clearance all around that I should have no trouble securing it properly to the vent. Another issue, one must consider, are the shadows that might be cast across our solar panles. Any shadow will shut a panel's production down and we want to get the maximum amount of energy from the sun every day.

Looks good, no shadow, and sitting behind the panel corner.

Tomorrow ................. the Pizza Party

Thanks for dropping by.
