FALL COLOURS

This morning we worked on the house but in the afternoon had some running around to do.The drive was pure pleasure. The air is clean, the colours are at their best and the sun shone all afternoon so our batteries are happy as well.

Saw this Model-T (above) driving along highway 62. WOW! cars have changed so much but the couple  was having a wonderful time enjoying the colours and folks coming from the opposite direction often slowed and waved as they went by.

We have water but no kitchen so we do the dishes on our back porch. Yes, the water was heated on our wood stove, gramma would be proud.

Most of the cottagers are back in the city and life is a little more peaceful once again.

Looks like the lumberyard had a busy summer, lots of wood stockpiled ready for market. Nothing is wasted, even the sawdust is used.

This is the way to enjoy the colours, in a convertible built almost 100 years ago.

Today we ordered the kitchen counters. They should arrive in three weeks so watch for pictures then. What colour would you recommend?

Are you coming up to enjoy the colours? This is the week to be here.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to send us your suggestions.
