This past weekend a lot of leaves fell and with the rainy windy weather in the forecast for the next 5 days we expect the remaining colour to soon disappear.
Once that happens winter can't be far behind. We often see snow here before the end of October. November is usually one of our darker months and will be a good test of our solar system. I will let you know how frequently we need to run our generator as we go through winter.
Although we are not sleeping in the house (still waiting to get the bedroom painted) we are enjoying all our meals there. Mary is happy to have a stove that works and all the extra counter space.
Today the guys are coming to measure for our counters and they should be delivered in two weeks. Our electricians are here as I type and want to finish their work on the house.
Time to paint the bedroom and get our closets in order.
