COMPANY CAME .......... ON A WING

Before Paul and family arrived our barred owl was back; this time on a mission and he was successful.


I first spotted him as he hovered over the snow, then dropped feet first and sat there motionless.



Then ever so cautiously he manoeuvred about until a little creature probably a mouse emerged from the snow in his mouth.




 Dinner at last. 

 Today we hope to go ice-fishing so check back tomorrow for more pictures.
