SATURDAY MORNING

No pictures today. The header picture will have to do. Our plan is to go out and clear the deck as soon as it warms up this morning. Right now it is sunny but -10*C so we will wait for a while. Owen is all set to help as he has been up since 6.

 Next week we want to get the railing and screens installed so need the space to build all the frames for the screens.

 11 am Up-Date

The deck has been cleared and we are ready for Peter on Monday.




 One sure sign of spring is when the chickens come up to the house. They are so glad to get a few hours outside.

 I'll post more pictures of our construction throughout the week.

    Art and Mary just love your lovely big porch. You guys clean up quickly LOL. You are so smart to screen in an area. You are so smart to do it now before those pesky little bugs arrive. I suppose having a late spring has given you more time to prepare for the BUGS !!! Let's hope we have a hot dry spring and head right into summer weather. That way the bugs will not last long. They hate hot weather. So happy seeing you have time to spend with Owen. He will love the freedom of the outdoors and learning all about your chickens and wildlife. Keep well. Our baby watch is ON. Due date is the 16th so it will be soon.
