PAUL and TIEN

Paul and Tien decided to build a huge fire while up here this week.  I really think Mary asked them to cut trees and help clear some bush; but whatever the reason we are grateful to have some more trees removed and our view of the pond improved.

Paul cut the trees and Tien 

 hauled the logs to the fire.

For an hour they toiled away cutting and hauling until .......

.................... it was time for a break.

A man, his dog and a chainsaw, such a good life.

Even Freckles loved being outside chasing sticks and looking for critters.

This afternoon more of the Van Ryn clan will show up and we will have eleven for supper.
