FISH FROM THE LAKE

Just finished our first meal from the lake. Linda and Durl gave us a trout they caught last night and it was delicious. Mary sauteed small potatoes with onions and herbs along with a dish of mixed vegetables. Truly a meal to make your mouth water.

We finished with a slice of homemade rhubarb, strawberry pie which was a perfect ending to a delicious meal. 

Rhubarb and asparagus from our garden, fish from the lake, I call that eating close to home.
