CHERRY PITTER

We love our cherry/banana homemade ice-cream and have always pitted the cherries one at a time.

This is a messy slow process which leaves our fingers stained and the table a mess.

Then I found this gadget.

It does 6 cherries at a time, no mess no fuss.

We pitted two bags of cherries this morning in a fraction of the time we did before.
Simply drop the handle and push the 6 blades through the cherries, lift the handle and remove the tray. Check to make sure you see 6 pits in the jar then dump the pitted cherries onto a cookie sheet to be frozen.

Simple, easy, mess free. Got them on Amazon.ca and so glad to have them.

Thanks for stopping by, time to make more ice-cream.
